Ego Collapse
The façade is manufactured to last only so long on its own.
The thin outer shell dries up and starts to shed away, and you start to feel the in-authenticity of everything around you.
The people that meant something to you, start to become inanimate.
The things you once cherished, become completely meaningless.
The beliefs that you once held, take on a hollow ring to them.
Indifference is the only thing that registers.
You feel the divide from everything and everyone around you.
You lose the ability to make sense of other people, and they are no longer able to make any sense of you.
Logic loses its structure. Intuition is no longer your ally. You have nothing to hold onto for stability.
You struggle to hold on to a single self long enough to let it speak, but it's overthrown long before you've had a chance to open your mouth.
You've traversed through all of your rulers many times over, all before you've had the chance to utter a single word.
Disconnected fractions of a real thought - its all you can offer.
You don't know how you arrived here. There was no beginning for you to remember; there will be no end for you to wait for. Time has lost its significance. All that's left is the current moment.
